New Year's Resolutions (for Kaiponohea)

If I post my resolutions here, will that make them official? Enforceable? Sustainable?Major Goal: Break what needs to be accomplished into small segments, then start and FINISH each segment: 1.) Keep a To Do list going. 2.) Straighten up the kitchen and dining room once every day. 3.) Do one non-routine chore per day.Fun Goals: Price out bathroom renovations. Round up John to nail down plasma TV purchase. Watch at least one movie per week, at home or in theater. And this year, like last year and the year before that and the year before that, going back to 1969...scribble, scribble, scribble. (With apologies to Nora Ephron.) FanSee

Official, yes, sort of... Sustainable? Hope so! BTW, this is really too weird: I have reminders that come up on my computer screen every day thst remind me of the particular room I'm supposed to spend 15 minutes a day straightening up. Now, do I do it? um....Maybe if I post them here, they'd be enforceable, sustainable, etc.!Hugs to you, FanSee!

Hey--sounds like we both had a good day! I wrote a page or so on the difference between imagination and fantasy. First time I've written anything for the dissertation since before Thanksgiving! Maybe posting these resolutions is a good thing after all.Wow--you're a terrific grandmother! How old is your granddaughter?

Well, let's just say that I HOPE the renovations won't be too awful. Right now I need to get bids - I have no idea how much what I want will cost. Getting the bids should be sort of fun because, due to the funky floorplan on my second floor, the area needs to be redesigned as well as rencovated. Then there is the Big Question: do I want a Jacuzzi or one of those old-fashioned claw tubs? Talk about problems! FanSee

Oooohhhh...can I vote for the Jacuzzi? Pampering, girl, pampering! Loks are great, but I'd go for pampering every time (unless we're talking about Brian Kinney).

I meant "looks." It's my old eyes. Locks are sometimes great, too, on bathroom (and bedroom) doors.
